RAM 1500 3.0L Eco Diesel Engine Fires

We have worked extensively on the RAM 1500 3.0L EcoDiesel and have identified several where the coolant leakage inside the EGR Cooler caused several things to happen.  The EGR can become clogged with products of incomplete combustion (PIC).  PIC build up circulating through the coolant system can cause various engine problems including pre-combustion ignition.  PIC can result in carbon deposit build up at the EGR Valve, causing it to stick open.  Coolant (Ethylene Glycol) under pressure, circulating through the EGR cooler can seep at either end.  For more information, please contact us
